Hands down, outstanding work and renovation experience. We found these guys through the BBB website and interviewed a number of recommended professionals. The companies we first met with, by personal recommendations, gave us extravagant quotes and made us feel like a “job”. We had given up on the idea of a kitchen and main floor renovation before our baby arrived, but met with Stefen anyways. As soon as he left, my husband and I said “Reno back on!” Not only was Stefen professional and respectful of our budget, he’s just a good guy. He provided personal attention and met (in person!) to review our quote within a very reasonable amount of time. At our kitchen table, we were able to understand the break down of the whole job and he allowed us to take on a few easy tasks to save on money so we could spend where it counted and really get the result we wanted. Communication was my priority above all else and they deserve a gold star here. They established a group text with Stefen, the designer Gabby, our site manager and ourselves. Everyone was on the same page. We were also given a login to follow along with the project selections and budget online. No surprises when it came time to cut a cheque. When challenges arose, we discussed the possible solutions together and One-of-One made it right, putting in the extra work when needed so we didn’t fall behind. The whole team is a real family and for a short while, we felt like we were part of this family. Everyone who entered our home, treated it like a home. We moved into the basement while work was being done and although it was not easy, One-of-One made it as painless as possible. They were in and done just a few weeks before our babe was born.
